Can I Save on Mail Order Prescriptions?
You can save significantly on maintenance medication with Mailmed, the participating mail order pharmacy. You can order up to a 12-month supply of medication, except for controlled substances, which Mailmed does not provide. You will be charged below wholesale, and the usual one-quarter (in isolated instances, 33%) administrative fee will be waived.

Our mail order prices are below other major mail order suppliers. Send your doctor's prescription to Mailmed of Florida, 4907 N. University Drive, Lauderhill, FL 33351. Include your identification number and a daytime phone number in case a Pharmacist has to contact you. Your account will be billed, and you will receive your medication in about seven days.

Can I Save on Optical Care and Eyeglasses?
Examinations, eyeglasses and all accessories are available from participating optical providers at a significant savings. The average gross savings is about 50% off retail for almost everything in the store, including examinations, frames, designer frames, lenses, tinting, prescription sunglasses, etc. The only exceptions are contact lens examinations, disposable and colored contact lenses, and special order lenses.

Be sure to show your MediSavers identification card to the Optician, who should give you a bill detailing the services you receive and the usual and customary price for each service.
DO NOT PAY THE OPTICIAN!
Payment will be made by MediSavers.

Can My Current Health Care Provider Become a Participating Provider?
Yes. Just call our Provider Relations Department with the name, address, phone number, and type of doctor you'd like us to contact, and we'll do the rest.

Why Does Your Automated System Say I'm Not Eligible?
The system identifies you by your identification number on your card and confirms the number you entered. The number you entered may have been incorrect. If the problem persists, call our Provider Relations Department for assistance.

Why Was My Claim Rejected at the Provider's Office?
Your membership is active, but you may not have had sufficient credit available on your account to cover the provider's fee. Your MediSaver card is tied to the account you gave us when you enrolled, and provider charges are billed to that credit card. You must have a sufficient available balance to cover the provider's charge, or the claim will be rejected and you will forfeit your discount. You can avoid this problem by checking your available balance to ensure that there is always enough money available. MediSavers wants you to receive every discount possible, so please check your balances regularly to cover any ongoing or expected new charges.

If you should change your credit card that is linked to the MediSavers card, please notify MediSavers immediately, so we can update your account.
